Now in 2012 we have Mr Bean Bag made by Amy Worthington. This is a sidescrolling game which is released for free.

The game was made using HiSoft Devpac, DPaint, Protracker, Amys own homebrew map editor, and the bad guys are added to the levels from within the game engine itself. The game is AGA only, and free. Read the whole interview on amigapd.com website.
